The Hidden Unicorn quest is a main quest within Sims Freeplay which means all previous quests must have been completed before this becomes available.
It unlocks from level 14 and after completing it you will gain access to the showjumping hobby. If you complete it within the time limit you will also get access to the unicorn rocking horse. You will need a toddler for the next quest so at some time during this quest I recommend you bake a birthday cake and ensure you have a toddler in your town in preparation for that.
Please remember that all items have either a 1,2 or 3 star rating and the time tasks take depend upon the star rating of the item

Talk to unicorn - 1 hr 40 mins
Go home and call a friend - 4 mins
Call 2 Sims to the stables
Laugh with a Sim - 5 mins
Investigate a tree - 10 hrs
Talk to a Sim about unicorn - 5 mins
Look for unicorns on internet - 7 hrs
Talk to a Sim about shy unicorns - 5 mins
Read pooping rainbows - 19 hrs
Talk to a Sim about the unicorn - 5 mins
Bake rocky road - 12 hrs (can be started early)
Call a Sim to the stables
Leave rocky road for the unicorns - 5 mins (click on show jumping gate)
Wait for the unicorn - 1 day
Have a deep sleep - 6 hrs 30 mins (can be started early)
Go to stables
Read the note - 5 mins (click on show jumping gate)
Tap show jumping gate to fix it - 10 hrs (S50,000)

Talk to a Sim about shy unicorns - 2 mins 30 secs
Read pooping rainbows - 8 mins 6 secs
Talk to a Sim about the unicorn - 1 min 30 secs
Bake rocky road - 12 hrs (can be started early)
Call a Sim to the stables
Leave rocky road for the unicorns - 12 secs (click on show jumping gate)
Wait for the unicorn - 12 hrs 30 mins
Have a deep sleep - 6 hrs 30 mins (can be started early)
Go to stables
Read the note - 1 min (click on show jumping gate)
Tap show jumping gate to fix it - 8 hrs (S50,000)

Prize
The prize for completing this quest within the time limit is the unicorn rocking horse. I really like this prize and it's a great addition to the toddler section but there is another rocking horse already available in the home store so it's not a huge deal if you don't win - although the pink is pretty cute! It costs S1,500 and is available from the toddler section of the home store.
The next quest is the In Da Clubhouse quest which will unlock the toddler playhouse hobby.

Why can't I start this quest?
You need to complete all the previous quests and be at level 14 or above before this quest becomes unlocked for you.
Can I complete this quest even though I am passed level 14?
You can complete this quest at any level on or after level 14. As long as you have completed the previous quests, this quest will pop up automatically for you.
Why are there two versions of this quest?
The developers have updated some of the quests over time so some quests have 2 versions as the devs haven't changed the quests on all devices.
How do I bake rocky road?
Click on a stove and select baking, scroll down until you find rocky rock.
What does the fire icon next to rocky rock mean?
This means the item can burn when you cook it and could set fire to your sims stove. It doesn't matter if it does burn as you will still complete the task.
Can I fix the showjumping gate early?
No, you have to wait until you get that task within the quest to begin fixing the gate.
When I try to repair the gate I get a pop up saying something is under construction, what do I do?
You can only build one thing at a time in Sims Freeplay so if you are already building a house or another building on the map you have to finish that first. Read exactly what the message says and either go to where you building and finish it with LP or wait until the building has finished construction.

Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
This happens when your Sim can't access the item. To solve this you either need to rotate the item so the little arrow has a blank space in front of it or move an item that has been placed in front of the item you want to use.
Can I just skip this quest? I don't really like it!
Nope! This is a main quest and you MUST complete each main quest before you can move onto the next.
Why are some of the times different on my game?
Each item has a star rating - 1,2 or 3 stars. The higher the star rating of the item you are using, the quicker it will be to complete a task.
